Contractor and home improvement expert Lou Manfredini recently featured the Trane XC95 communicating furnace and Trane CleanEffects during his Jan. 14 segment on the "TODAY" show. Lou's segment focused on energy-saving tips for home heating during the winter season.

During the segment, Lou encouraged viewers to install a high-efficiency furnace if their heating system is more than 15 years old. He also mentioned that the Trane XC95 is energy efficient and includes "smart home technology" referencing ComfortLink II.
